Thank you for helping to make the Mosaic Services 5K Family Run/Walk a success! Events were held on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 and included:
8:00 a.m. - Adult 5K Run/Walk
9:00 a.m. - Youth 1/4 Mile Dash (6 years and younger)
9:15 a.m. - Youth 1/2 Mile Dash (7-12 years)
All events began at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School located at 7539 Manchester Rd in Maplewood, Missouri [get map / directions]. Prizes were awarded in various age groups and all proceeds benefited Mosaic Services. |

Maplewood's Fred Taylor to Start Mosaic Services 5K |
|
Maplewood's own Fred Taylor will return home from college to start Mosaic Services 5K Family Fun Run/Walk. Taylor, a state track champion, gained media attention last spring for his speed and accomplishments. A former resident of Joe's Place, MRH's home for homeless boys, Taylor overcame adversity to become the first member of his family to attend college. His appearance as race starter for an event which will benefit at-risk children at Maplewood's Early Childhood Center is a full circle moment. Don't miss it! |
